Family with children in for a disappointment

The breakfast spread was really excellent! I mean, fresh eggs, smoothies, and even gluten-free options! You rarely see that in these hotels,,, It definitely lifted our spirits. The staff were super friendly, like, really engaging.

The walls are shockingly thin!!! Noise from adjacent rooms is disruptive. Outdated decor feels dingy and unwelcoming. The inconsistent HVAC systems left room temperatures uncomfortable at times. The hot tub needs better maintenance for relaxation!!!

The indoor pool's temperature was a letdown during our stay. I specifically picked this Hampton for the heated pool, especially since I traveled with my young kids. Upon check-in, nobody informed us about the pool heater being out of order, leaving us disappointed. The staff seemed unfazed by the situation and only offered a partial refund after some insistence. On a brighter note, the breakfast spread impressed me, featuring a good variety of fresh items each day. The room was clean, and the bedding was comfortably plush with plenty of pillows. While the staff at the front desk were friendly and willing to help, I suggest improving communication about facilities and addressing maintenance issues promptly.

It was just a reliable pick for a momentary pause in Keokuk with good price value. The hotel had a nice feature with a mini-fridge in the room, which was useful for our refreshments. Be sure to arrive early for breakfast as it can get crowded.

during my stay in keokuk, i found this hotel exceeded my previous experiences at hampton inns. the breakfast was particularly impressive, featuring real chicken strips and freshly baked croissants every day. also, the staff was incredibly helpful, providing complimentary water at night, which was a nice touch.
